- Page 7 Before Installing Passport System Charging UPS Unpack and connect the UPS to an AC power outlet, and allow the battery to charge when you are setting up the other Passport System components. After charging for about 40 minutes, the UPS will be able to provide up to 15 minutes of backup power.
- Page 8 Before Installing Passport System • The Virtual Private Network (VPN) LAN Router (Q13708-07B), LAN Router (Q13708-05), and/or VPN Firewall Router (Q13078-08B) must be installed in a place where the Power button cannot be pushed and turned off unintentionally. If power to the VPN LAN Router, LAN Router, or VPN Firewall Router is lost, then fuel dispensers, VSAT, Back Office PC, and Passport workstations will be unable to communicate with each other.
