Check Battery Pack Check (Laptop/Tablet)

Check the charging condition.
1 To check the charging condition, use a battery pack with battery level of less than 50% or fully discharged battery. First, charge it.
When the battery icon says "unknown remaining level" or so on, power off and replace the battery pack.
2 If the charging still fails after replacing the battery pack, replace the system board. And install the battery pack again to check the
charging conditions.
CAUTION
!
• You can check the current status accurately only at the room temperature.
• Do not charge the battery if the internal pack temperature is below 0℃ or above 50℃.
Check the battery condition.
1 In [Setting] > [System] > [Battery], check the remaining battery level. If the remaining battery level is more than 95%, charging may
fail. If you want to reach 100%, discharge it until below 95% and start charging again. You can reach 100%. The function is used to
prevent over charging or lifetime reduction of battery.
2 To check the battery condition, move the cursor to the battery icon in the Windows task indicator bar, the battery level will be
displayed after a moment. For more about the battery, click the battery icon twice.
NOTE
• After time is passed since the fully charging of the battery pack to 100%, the self-charging will cause a reduction
in the capacity. The battery will not recharge until it reaches 95% of the full capacity, and if it is below 95%, it will
be automatically recharged to 100%. So if the battery level indicates 95% to 99% during use, but no charging is
done, it is normal.
Check the battery voltage.
1 Turn off the PC power.
2 Take out the battery pack, and measure the voltage between the Batt (+) and Batt (-) terminals.
3 If the battery voltage difference is below the main voltage of the battery label, it means that the battery is discharged. Recharge
the battery. If the voltage difference is still below the main voltage of the battery label after charging, it is necessary to replace the
battery.
CAUTION
!
• Even if the charging lamp is not lit, you need to charge it for at least three hours.
