Important information
Before operating the aroma fountain, please carefully read the operating
instructions for the aroma fountain and the pump. Keep both instructions
in a safe place. In particular the safety instructions for the pump are to
be observed exactly.
The aroma fountain should be emptied and cleaned daily after use.
Please allow all parts to dry completely before operating the fountain
again.
Operating instructions
• Fill three quarters of the fountain bowl with water. It is best to use filtered,
distilled or low lime content water. This protects the fountain and the pump.
• Please make sure to set up the fountain on a non-slip, tilt-resistant and
waterproof surface.
• Please keep out of reach of children and disoriented persons.
• Do not leave the aroma fountain unattended while in operation!
• Insert the connecting hose through the upper outlet of the top part of the
fountain until both edges close evenly. To do this, moisten the connecting
hose with some water.
• Then insert the fountain pump nozzle into the connecting hose from below.
• By rotating the pump nozzle you can regulate the effervescence of the
fountain.
• Proceed to center the upper part of the fountain along with the pump on top
of the bowl. The connecting hose should not protrude from the source sphere
opening at the top.
• Only then insert the power plug of the pump into the socket (230 volts). If you
encounter startup problems, please unplug the device and add some water
from above, through the source sphere. Then insert the power plug into the
socket again.
• Please make sure to never insert or remove the power plug from the outlet
with wet hands!
• Now you can add your desired essential oil blend into the bowl or onto the
source sphere of the fountain. Please use no more than 5 -10 drops of a
100 % pure and natural essential oil blend, depending on the desired
intensity.
More notes and tips
• The pump's performance and the associated effervescence can be regulated
by rotating the pump nozzle.
• Please refill with water regularly so that the entire pump is submerged in
water.
• Clean your fountain regularly, at least weekly and when you do, fill it with
fresh water.
• Always disconnect the power plug from the socket when cleaning the
fountain.
• The pump is designed for continuous operation.
Thorough care and maintenance of your
aroma fountain is important. Diligent care
is worthwhile!
We recommend cleaning your fountain regularly. This way you will be
able to enjoy it for a long time.
The frequency of complete cleaning depends on:
• the lime content of your water
• the essential oil blends used
Please perform a complete cleaning every week!
Before you begin cleaning, always disconnect the power plug from the
socket! Then start by rinsing the individual parts with a mild dishwashing
liquid.
Fill with fresh, warm water at about 68 degrees F/20 degrees Celcius
adding a generous shot of vinegar essence or 1 tbsp of citric acid and let
the fountain run for several hours. Once the cleaning cycle is completed,
the pump and the fountain must be rinsed thoroughly. Then leave all the
parts to dry completely.
If you desire to change the fragrance it is recommended to perform a
complete cleaning beforehand.
Cleaning of the pump in case of heavy limescale or contamination.
• Disconnect the power plug from the socket.
• Remove the pump and pull off connecting hose.
• Pre-clean all parts with a mild dishwashing liquid.
• Remove the side cover with its mesh by pressing against the pump
nozzle.
• Insert a thin screwdriver into the small indentation next to the rotor;
this allows you to pull the rotor out.
• If there are oil residues, briefly immerse all parts in rubbing alcohol or
clean each part by using rubbing alcohol and a small brush.
• In the event of limescale residues, clean all parts by briefly immersing
them in water and vinegar essence or in 1 tbsp of citric acid.
• After cleaning, please reinsert the rotor. The rotor must now toggle
back and forth in the rotation direction when it is manually given a
slight push. If this does not happen, the internal pin within the pump
and the pin guide in the rotor must be cleaned again. Finally, assemble
all pump parts completely and conduct a test run in the water.
