  • Page 69: Using The Sms (Short Message Service)

    RS-232 plug allows for sending/receiving short messages via the GSM network. Switch on the PC and start the optional Audiotel Engineering dedicated SW program (Audiotel Connect). This application provides easy-to-use commands for sending, reading and managing short messages. If this optional application is not available, the setting-up, sending, reading and deleting of short messages can be performed by means of a terminal emulator application (e.g.:Hyperterminal) as described below.
