Inspect with a en on the support and seal of the O-ring, elimina ng any dirt and verifying that it is in a perfect state. Add a substan al quan ty of Vaseline to the O- ring, li le anomalies can result in the loss of water ghtness with severe consequences.

The number of cycles of charge indicated by the manufacturer following all the recommenda ons described previously (ideal condi ons of use) will be of 250 cycles at 100% and another 250 cycles at more than 80%.

  • Page 14 USER MANUAL DT 12/Combi CLOSING -CASING OF THE BATTERY With the equipment supported on the propeller ver cally and with a good vision of the top part of the equipment, insert the protec on hood of the ba ery, avoiding a possible touch between the edge of the hood and the subordina on of the ba ery.

  • Page 16 USER MANUAL DT 12/Combi BATTERY CONECTION – SCOOTER Read and understand well this sec on as it can be one of the most cri cal for your safety and the good func oning of the scooter. -First of all, ensure that the connec on cable of the ba ery is not squeezed by the superior ballast.
  • Page 17 USER MANUAL DT 12/Combi CONNECTION OF THE BATTERY WITH EXTERNAL CHARGER Without having to access the ba ery, we will remove the plug that we see in image 1 manually, without the need for tools. Place in a clean area to avoid remaining dirt on the seal.

BEFORE USING DT 12/Combi Once acquired and before using it, follow the steps that are indicated: 1°) Mount the complete body to check for water ghtness. 2º) Immerse during 10/15 minutes the scooter in an appropriate container of sweet water without connec ng the ba ery.

If you push it down, away from you, it will start going down; the speed of this maneuver will be directly propor onal the force you apply.

CLEANING AND CONSERVATION OF THE EQUIPMENT (I) a) CLEANING -A er the dive, rinse the scooter as soon as possible, dipping it in a tank of sweet water and having it a few minutes func oning in a low speed un l it gets totally free of salt content and adhered par cles. Another op on is to rinse it with sweet water, emphasizing the mobile zones and more delicacy (command, helix, clutch, etc.).

CLEANING AND CONSERVATION OF THE EQUIPMENT (II) b) STORAGE AND CONSERVATION -If you want to store for more than three months, you must do it in a dry and well aired space between 15°C and 25°C. Also, you must realize at least one charge and discharge every six months, and store again well charged.

The body of the scooter can be lied down on its side. It is indispensable to close the unit to protect from water damage, take care to not over ght the lid as it can result in damages to the seal when stored from a long period of me.

    USER MANUAL DT 12/Combi 10. MAINTENANCE a) ROUTINE MAINTENANCE -Open the protec on lid where the ba ery is lodged and clean the framework with a so cloth without using solvents or alcohol -Lubricate the joints with Vaseline, checking that it is in a correct posi on.

POSSIBLE INCIDENTS AND SOLUTIONS (I) FAILURES OF THE SCOOTER The scooter DT 12/24/36 is extremely reliable, but the diver must be always prepared to face possible failures. a) The scooter doesn´t turn on Assure that you have placed the interrupter in ON posi on, note the LED that indicates the ba ery level.
  • Page 40 USER MANUAL DT 12/Combi 11. POSIBLE INCIDENTS AND SOLUTIONS (II) SCOOTER FAILURES c) Flooding If the scooter floods, it can become a risk to the user. Close the circuit and abort the dive DT 12/Combi this will eliminate the risk and allow to exit the water with safety. In case of doubt detach yourself from the scooter and leave it behind.

    The repair under the indicated warranty is limited to the subs tu on of the defec ve parts and others of similar value than those in the original scooter, the decision being made by Divertug S.L. This warranty starts from the date of purchase, it is only applicable to the original owner and is not transferable.

  • Page 43 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WARRANTY Divertug S.L. doesn´t provide any other warran es, explicit or implicit. All the implicit warran es, including the warranty of merchantability and adequacy for a par cular purpose, are limited in dura on to the explicit warran es indicated above.
  • Page 44 During the period of warranty of your equipment, it can only be a ended by Divertug S.L. or official distributors. It will be your responsibility to maintain it in good condi ons and not submit it to more efforts beyond those of normal use. During the period of warranty you must do all the technical and periodical obligatory maintenances, as it is indicated in this user manual from Divertug team.
