IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

• Before use, check thoroughly for any defects and do NOT use if defects are found. Take care not to drop the appliance
as heavy impacts may cause internal damage.
• The 6L Oven operates at high temperature, parts of the appliance may become very hot during use. Take care to avoid burns
to skin, especially when cooking fatty foods.
• Ensure the 6L Oven is only used on heat-resistant surfaces.
• Do NOT leave the 6L Oven unattended during cooking, as some foods can burn easily or in extreme cases ignite.
• Do NOT use near wall cupboards, hanging objects or flammable materials, such as curtains, to avoid heat damage to other
surfaces. Do NOT store or use close to other heat sources to protect the 6L Oven from heat damage.
• Always place baking tray on a heat-proof surface after use.
• Keep away from children.
• Do NOT attempt to remove food with any sharp or metal objects or your fingers from around the bulbs.
Unplug at mains before removing stuck foods.
• Always ensure the 6L Oven is switched OFF and unplugged after use, when cleaning or if a fault develops.
When unplugging, never pull on the cable.
• Keep power cord away from parts of the appliance which may get hot or still be hot after use. Allow to cool fully,
before putting away or cleaning.
• For domestic use only.
• Only plug into a standard UK earthed mains socket.
• To comply with Health & Safety regulations, all repairs must be undertaken by a qualified electrician,
no user serviceable parts.

Check that there is no packaging inside the oven. • Set the function dial to the oven setting (top & bottom together). • Allow to run for 15 minutes in a well ventilated room without food to burn off the protective covering on the heating elements.
