Unpacking

Make sure that all elements are in the box:
- Power supply cable
- Serial/USB cable and its mini CD
- 1 adapter for power supply cable
1 installation CD-ROM (included in the folder)
-
- 1 satisfaction survey (included in the folder)

Software installation

Load the RDS/RBDS Encoder silver CD-ROM software. If the program does not start automatically, double-click on the silver
icon and select "Silver Encoder "in the menu to launch the installation program.
Select the installation language and let the installation wizard finish.
Check: "Launch application" before clicking "Finish".
Or once the PC has restarted, launch the RDS Silver encoder software by double clicking o the shortcut placed on the desk:

Connect the equipment to AC power using the power supply cable
Connect the computer to the RS-232 jack with the serial USB/cable
Connect the stereo encoder output to the MPX IN jack of the RDS encoder
Connect the MPX OUT of the RDS encoder to the composite/MPX IN of
the exciter
Switch on the encoder on the rear panel
