"Swedish audio brand, Audio Pro, has extensive experience in the speaker busi-
ness, having made them since 1978, but is relatively unknown on these shores.
However, the reasonably priced Cinema Precision 5.1 set represents a major
push to make waves in the sea of sub/sat systems currently available."
"Each diminutive aluminium satellite (one acting as a cent-
er channel) is fi tted with two 75mm doped paper mid-bass
drivers aside a centrally located 12mm soft dome tweeter,
and is ideally suited to budget/midrange amplifi cation.
The active subwoofer has a power output of 100W and
features a 200mm doped paper downward-fi ring speaker
driver."
"The result makes for a rounded and clear soundstage,
capable of extreme dynamics and presence. Build quality
is superb. Look out also for the funky optional fl oorstands.
A great AV package that's a little out of the ordinary."
Verdict
Highs: Well-built aluminium casing, suited to
inexpensive amplifi ers.
Lows: Subwoofer can be overpowering, so careful
set up is needed.
