Before first Use
Remove the edge-folding unit and the accessory out of the
packaging and check for any damage in transit. Keep packaging
materials out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!
Intended Use
The edge-folding unit is designed for folding steel sheet metal up to
1.2 mm and similar materials up to 1.5 mm. the edge-folding unit is
capable of folding material up to an angle of 60°. Sequel-folding (U-
profiles) and closed square tubs, with a minimum width of 50 mm
are also possible.
Mounting
1. The edge-folding unit has to be mounted firmly into a vice by
means of the plate (6) at the bottom.
2. Mount both levers (7) into the provided sidewise holes. The
movable folding bar (8) and both levers should face downwards.
3. With the two adjusting screws on the rear side of the edge-
folding unit you can adjust the distance between the movable
folding bar (8) and the upper beam (3) as well as the lower beam
(1) in order to fit your sheet-metal. This will be done with both
adjusting screws (4) at the rear side of the unit.
