  • Page 4 Q & A TROUBLESHOOTING How Frequently do I need to change the filter? The charcoal filter and foam filter should be changed every 2-4 weeks depending on the number of pets using the fountain. Having more pets will increase the saliva content and food debris in the water, so the filter will need to be changed more frequently.
  • Page 5 How long with the fountain pump last? The fountain runs a long life AC Pump. The pump normally lasts between 2.5 and 4 years (>20,000 hours). If the pump has been in regular use for approximately this time period, it will need replacing. We provide a full 1 year warranty for the pump.
  • Page 6 ASSEMBLY OF THE PUMP & LID 1. 1 Take the bowl and place the pump inside the bowl. (It may have already been set up when packaged.) 1.2 Feed the in-line plug of the electrical power cord over and through the raised post and out the notch on the right.
  • Page 7 1.4 Place the water bowl on the drinking bowl and the LED Light passes through the water bowl. 1.5 Install LED Light under water outlet of the water tower liner.

  • Page 9 ASSEMBLY OF THE FILTER & SPOUT 2. 1 Rinse the charcoal filter thoroughly in cold water to help remove any excess or loose charcoal dust. 2.2 Place the filter on top of the lid and press down firmly.
  • Page 10 WATER FILLING & POWER ON 3. 1 Add water as necessary, the maximum water level is located on the top of the filter. Connect the power cord to the wall adapter and insert into the electrical outlet. 3.2 Setting the Water Flow: Adjust the valve to control the water.

    PUMP MAINTENANCE Cleaning the pump is essential for the longevity of the fountain. Clean at least every 2 weeks 1. Remove the pump cover 2. Remove the impeller cap by placing your fingernail underneath the small lip. 3. Remove the impeller and clean the parts with mild soap and warm water.
