SIM1’s Team A – On/Off button: When in OFF position XG-900 works as a standard Electric Guitar. The Pickup Selector (I) works to select the Neck Pickup (Position 1 and 2), Mid Position Pickup (Position 3), Bridge Pickup (Position 4 and 5). Then you can adjust the Volume Knob (H) and the Tone Knob (F).

Position of the Pickup Selector FULL EDITING MODE Switch your XG-900 on (A) and wait until the booting is finished. Tap and Hold the Black Rotary Selector (D) for 2 seconds. Tap on “Easy Mode” Section then rotate clockwise or anticlockwise the Black Rotary Knob, until you get “Easy Mode Off”, then Tap to confirm.

This procedure is useful for a perfect “tone matching” between the source guitar pickups and the Target Guitar Pickups, helping to reach the best possible realism, in terms of guitar tone emulation. XG-900 has a Telecaster model as pre-installed Source Guitar; therefore the Learning Procedure is recommended only if you modify the physical setup of the guitar.

When the switch is in ON position the Amp Models and the Effects on-board are activated. This means that you can connect XG-900 directly to the mixer. Each time that you activate the Amp/FX Section you can adjust the Gain percentage: - Rotate clockwise or anticlockwise the Black Rotary Knob (D) until you get the desired gain, then Tap it confirm.

You can check each setting adjustment through the Screen of the guitar. NB: Unlike the EASY MODE, when using the XG-900 with the FULL EDITING MODE, the gain adjustment will not be stored. This means that, if you disactivate and activate again the AMP/FX Section, the gain level will go back to the one previously set through the Menu Option (D) of the guitar or through the Editor for PC/Mac.
