    1.1 Introduction The full 1000 Mbit/s Ethernet Demarcation Device (EDD) ISCOM RAX711 (hereinafter referred to as the ISCOM RAX711), developed by Raisecom, is designed for the remote access for the Metropolitan Access Network (MAN), Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) access, and mobile backhaul network access. By cooperating with the ISCOM2924GF- 4GE/4C at the Central Office (CO), it provides a MAN Ethernet access solution that is of easy service activation and deployment for carriers.

    Maximum power consumption 18 W Grounding conditions The ISCOM RAX711 is suitable for installation at both CBN and IBN, and the grounding resistance should be below 1 Ω. Well grounding is the first guarantee to lightning protection and anti-interference. 4.2.3 Installing device The installation mode for the ISCOM RAX711 series is identical.

    Step 1 Lay the device stably on the workbench, as shown in Figure 4-5.     Installing DC power cable Install the DC power cable as below: Step 1 Ensure that the ISCOM RAX711 is well grounded. Step 2 Insert the 3-PIN phoenix connector into the DC power interface on the front panel tightly. Step 3 Insert the stripping end of the DC power cable into the 3-PIN phoenix connector, and fasten the spring screws on two sides of the 3-PIN phoenix connector, as shown in Figure 4-7.

Step 2 Insert the RJ45 connector of the clock cable into the clock interface of the ISCOM RAX711, and insert the other RJ45 connector of the clock cable into the clock interface of the peer device, as shown in Figure 4-12.
