The control unit is in a particular operating mode: The measurement of the gas concentrations and the alarm management still takes place, but the status of the alarm relay is unchanged. This mode spontaneously stops after 15 minutes of inactivity. www.dalemans.com...

Allows turning the audible alarm and the transistor output off (potentially connected to RESET 1 x an alarm) Allows: RESET 2 x - resetting an alarm if the gas concentration returns below the threshold which triggers it. - resetting the errors still indicated but no longer ongoing. www.dalemans.com...
Optionally, it is also possible to attach the U•H1 control unit to a DIN rail. Please contact your DALEMANS SA representative for more information. If the attachment method without feet is chosen, attach the enclosure using the 4 holes located in the corners of the enclosure using a PZ2 screwdriver with a minimum length of 150 mm.
70 mm. It is recommended to always use wires with a crimping end to avoid any risk of poor electrical contact. Example of a connection diagram for the U•H1 control unit: www.dalemans.com...
The power for the U•H1 control unit and that for the gas valve(s) must be connected on the same circuit. Make sure that the power conductors are always fixed together and separated from the low-voltage conductors. The power cables for the 230 V section must have a minimum section of 1.5 mm www.dalemans.com...
2.7 CONNECTING THE RELAYS The U•H1 control unit has a technical fault relay and 3 relays addressable by the alarms. It is possible to connect different types of servo controls thereto such as a sounder device, a valve, a flash lamp, etc. www.dalemans.com...
To power your U•H1 control unit on, make sure that the terminals are tightened properly and that the supply voltage is within the accepted operating voltage range accepted by the U•H1 control unit. For commissioning, please contact DALEMANS SA to arrange an appointment ! INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION The configuration mode for the U•H1 control unit comprises a set of menus allowing the consultation or...
The information menu provides information concerning all the control unit’s elements. With the exception of the date, all these elements are accessible as read-only. View history Consultation of the control unit’s history Calibration age Consultation of the age of the calibration parameters for the detector www.dalemans.com...
If the date or time of the U•H1 control unit are incorrect, using the “Enter” button on the keypad accesses editing mode: • “Date & Time setting” is displayed • The cursor flashes on the field value of the date or time to be modified. Date & time setting dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm www.dalemans.com...
This is the standard configuration that has been selected during commissioning of the U•H1 control unit. However, special configuration parameters can be modified relative to this basic configuration. For details of the standard configurations, contact a DALEMANS SA representative. www.dalemans.com...
Note: The “Technical Fault” relay is always in failsafe mode. Activation of this configuration is to be performed by a technician approved by DALEMANS SA. • Reset mode for level 1 alarms The reset mode for an alarm specifies the way in which it is reset: Latching mode: when the cause of the alarm has disappeared, the alarm remains activated until a manual action (“RESET”) is performed on the control unit.
U•H1 Control Unit or D•TEX 3F+ detector is notified by an action on the relay signaling the technical defect. The mode to reset a technical fault specifies how it is reset: as standard, the U•H1 Control Unit is configured for automatic reset. Error reset mode Automatic www.dalemans.com...
(cf. § “View history”). Activation of the “Manual acknowledge” is to be performed by a technician approved by DALEMANS SA. Status of the system’s elements This menu is used to consult the status of the elements of the U•H1 control unit.
For a more in-depth analysis of your situation, please contact someone approved by DALEMANS SA. The service menu is protected by the following password:...
“Up” and “Down” buttons. The status of the output selected is shown each time. Fault relay Technical fault relay Not activated Alarm relay 1 Alarm relay 1 Not activated Alarm relay 2 Alarm relay 2 Not activated www.dalemans.com...
The value of simulated gas concentration is modified using the “Up” and “Down” buttons. The “right” and “left” buttons move from one figure to another of the gas concentration value with the first figure allowing modification by tens and the second by unit. www.dalemans.com...
When the location names allow (display limited to 20 characters), an index from 1 to 9 may be added using the “Right” and “Left” buttons. The confirmation of the location choice takes place using the “Enter” button. The choice of location may be interrupted and abandoned using the “Esc” button. www.dalemans.com...
The configuration menu of the selected detector becomes active again. The return to service of a detector occurs in the same way. Note: A detector out of order is viewed as a technical fault and the fault relay switches ! www.dalemans.com...
Navigation within the external alarm configurations is via the “Up” and “Down” buttons. The configuration is then selected using the “Enter” button. Confirmation of the configuration change is requested. Select configuration ? Set alarm levels 1 Pressing “Enter” confirms the configuration change. www.dalemans.com...
Once the modification of the maintenance interval is selected, the period currently configured in the U•H1 control unit is displayed and the cursor flashes on the first digit (the tens) of the value in months. Maintenance interval 13 months www.dalemans.com...
• Renewal of the validity of the calibration parameters Ordinarily, the renewal of the validity of the detector’s calibration parameters takes place automatically during its calibration by a technician approved by DALEMANS SA. The maintenance period for the calibrated detector is then reset.
Pressing the “Enter” button confirms the new configuration of the U•H1 control unit. The channel with the connected detector is then enabled. The “Esc” button can be used to abandon the modification and return to the information menu. Initialization done www.dalemans.com...
