FIRST-TIME USE
Select a weight unit by the unit (kg/lb) switch on the back of the scale.
BATTERY INSERTION/REMOVAL
Open the battery compartment, located in the bottom section of the scales.
Insert provided battery.
WARNING If the scales are not used for long periods, we recommend removing the battery.
Replace the battery as soon as the display reads "Lo".
HOW TO HANDLE/POSITION THE SCALES
Place the scales on a smooth, sturdy surface, well away from sources of heat. Do not expose to
direct sunlight or sources of damp; do not shake or drop the scales. Never tamper with the circuit
mechanisms.
SWITCHING ON
Stand on the scales; the scale will be automatically on and the weight reading will appear immediatley
on the display.
USE
For the utmost precision, get onto the scales slowly, remaining immobile until the weight reading
appears on the display.
Make sure that the standing surface of the scales and your feet are completely dry to avoid any risk
of slipping.
POWER CONSUMPTION
The scales have an automatic switch off system (10 seconds after use) to reduce battery consumption
to a minimum.
CLEANING
Clean with a soft damp cloth and a little detergent. Never place the scales in water.
Never use gas, boiling water or chemical products.
