Fancom climate controller. This ventilation percentage could be based on the direction sensitive rotation feedback (DSR feedback). The fan is connected to the IVM-Touch (with the IVM-Touch 230V 2T10 it is possible to control two fans separately). The IVM-Touch distinguishes between five types of Fancom control principles:...
  • Page 7 Test the IVM-Touch Takes into account the following guidelines: Never place the IVM-Touch in a place where the weather has direct influence (not in the sun, not in places where the temperature can rise sharply etc.). Never mount the IVM-Touch near water pipes, drainage pipes etc.
  • Page 8 All cables which are connected to the mains supply must have a cross-sectional area of at least 2.5 (AWG 14). If the power supply to the IVM-Touch fails, the power outage relay will switch off. If you use the IVM- Touch 24Vac the IVM-Touch can be powered using the Power Failure Box (PFB).
  • Page 9 Tap the number to edit the value. Set the required I/O-address by using to confirm. If the IVM-Touch is the first or last unit of the IO-net, switch the Termination resistor dipswitch on the ICM board to ON. Set the ventilation control type as follows:...
  • Page 10 Set the required control type by using . See paragraph "Interior IVM-Touch 24Vac" page 19 or see paragraph "Interior IVM-Touch 230Vac" page 21 for the possible settings. to confirm. Set the unit type as follows: Enter the Installation menu (see "Working with the IVM-Touch" page 13).
  • Page 11 Wait until the following screen appears: If the adjustment has been unsuccesfull the following screen appears. The most common cause is that the IVM-Touch has measured none or too few pulses. Check the DSR-feedback sensor and repeat the adjustment procedure.
  • Page 12 Repeat the steps above to set the 99% triac settings. If needed, repeat the steps above to set the 1% and 99% settings for the seconds triac control (IVM-Touch 2T10).
  • Page 13 If the IVM-Touch is to be controlled with a 10-0Vdc (or 0-10Vdc) control signal, the I/O-address should be set to 0. Set the analog control settings as follows: Enter the Installer menu (see "Working with the IVM-Touch" page 13). Turn the rotary knob to manual.
  • Page 14 There are two options for controlling the speed of the fans. Either the speed is based on the temperature sensor in the IVM-Touch or it is based on an analog setpoint which is set in the climate controller. Set the red and white dipswitches on the ICM board to define the prefered option.
  • Page 15 Independed: each fan is controlled seperate (controllable via I/O-net). Set the dipswitches for dependend / independed as follows: Board 1 Board 2 Control type Triac Bypass Triac Bypass Dependend Independend Check whether the IVM-Touch has been connected correctly. Check whether the IVM-Touch works optimally.

  • Page 18 Use the rotary knob and switch The rotary knob and switch on the front of the IVM-Touch are used in combination to determine how the fan and vortex damper function (see the table below). The switch is only available with IVM-Touch 230V variants. The IVM-Touch 230V 2T10 has two switches, one for each triac output.
