Possible issues with the Doppler DLC hydraulic car lift not responding to call buttons for going up include:
1. Power Down: If the lift had a power down, timers may need to be increased. 2. Car Door Hook Stuck: The hook of the car door mechanism may be obstructed. Fix the hook and its base. 3. Door Command Misconnection: Check if door safety lines and commands are connected properly for the correct door (A or B). Mismatched connections can prevent door operation, blocking lift movement. 4. Shaft Learning Not Completed: If an incremental encoder is used and shaft learning was not completed, the lift will not operate normally. Perform shaft learning. 5. HU and HD Inputs Open: If A11 > 0 (3rd speed used), both HU and HD must not be open simultaneously. Check switches, wiring, and definitions. 6. Motor Overheated or PTC Circuit Issue: If the motor is overheated or the PTC circuit is not connected, the lift may not function. Check the R/N circuit breaker, RT2 relay, and motor thermistor.

Page 8
11 Counter Error Cause Inconsistency in floor number on displays and car posi- tion. This error arises if the floor number is not 0 when the car is at bottom floor (817=0 and 818=1) or floor number is not top floor when the car is at top floor. (817=1 and 818=0).
Page 9
12 Encoder Direction Error Cause Encoder rotation direction is not the same as the car travel direction. Incremental encoder inputs A and B (ENA and ENB) should be interchanged. Troubleshooting 1. Change A- with B- and A+ with B+ (SP1 DLC1T/H) and try again.
Page 10
2. Check if the microswitch of 5VDC or 15VDC is turned in 5 for Gefran drive or in 15 for Doppler drive 3. Turn the lift in normal mode with Fsafety circuit braker in 0 position.
Page 11
18 No Car Communication Cause System cannot communicate with car units. Check se- rial communication states of the main board and the car controller. If BE or LE leds on CAN drivers are ON then there is something wrong either in electrical wir- ing of CAN units or in values of the termination resistors.
Page 12
20 PTC/Thermistor Cause Motor is overheated or PTC circuit is not connected [PTC=0]. Troubleshooting 1. Check if R/N Circuit braker is giving output and RT2 relay is active. 2. Check if T1-T2 on the ALSK or ALPK have continuity, if not, check the motor thermistor.
Page 13
21 HU - HD Are Open Cause When the system uses 3rd speed, [A11>0], mainly for speeds above 1 m/s, then HU and HD inputs must be used. If HU and HD are defined and both are open si- multaneously then this error arises. Check HU and HD switches, terminals, definitions and related wiring.
Page 14
3. Press an emergency STOP (from 870 control). 4. Turn into normal mode from 870 control. 5. Press ENTER to RA of the main board DLC. 6. Press UP arrow to DLC board. 7. If you see 1400 press ENTER.
Page 15
Troubleshooting (Continue) do moves in normal mode. When the shaft learning end, you make moves from floor to floor to see if the lift reaches the floor level accurately. If it does not then we check first the pencil magnets to be very close to the magnets.
Page 16
Shaft learning should be carried out. Troubleshooting 1. The main board have a small switch to the right side set as 5V at Gefran drive or 15V at Doppler drive. check if it is correctly set. 2. Reset floor pulses and try shaft learn again.
Page 17
26 Machine Room Temperature Cause This error message is raised if the machine room tem- perature is outside the adjusted temperature region and any new start of the lift is prohibited. [B21=0] clears ma- chine room temperature detection. No checking is car- ried out.
Page 18
Check if THR input is connected to the external device and the adjustment of the external device. Troubleshooting 1. Check the environmental temperature if it is too high or too low. 2. Go to menu M4 and set value 12495. Then set the board tem- perature (environmental).
Page 19
29 Contactor Failure Cause Although there are no contactors activated, there is no signal in CNT terminal. Check CNT wiring and definition. Check also the wiring of the CNT circuit through nor- mally closed aux-contacts of the contactors. Troubleshooting 1. Check if there is a stuck contactor. 2.
Page 20
31 Phase Order Wrong Cause Error in phase sequence. Interchange two-line phases. Troubleshooting Change phase sequence until the error disappear. Go to Table of Contents...
Page 21
33 ML2 Open At Floor Cause If ML2 switch becomes passive [ML2=0] while the car is staying at floor level this error is created. If the doors are open then it is an UCM error and the system is blocked. Check the magnet and switch locations of ML1 and ML2.
Page 22
39 Group No Failure Cause There is more than one member in the group with the same group number specified in [A13]. Check [A13] pa- rameters of all lifts in the group. Troubleshooting 1. Check if the edit number of the group is increasing from board to board in the group connections.
Page 23
Troubleshooting 1. Check the car door contact. 2. Check if the door mechanism have the power to close the door completely. If not then increase Doppler door drive parameters P4.06 and P4.08. Descriptions of these parameters are in the manual.
Page 24
44 KL1 – KL2 Are Open Cause Car doors are not physically closed in bypass mode. Check KL1 and KL2 inputs and related door contacts. Troubleshooting 1. When bypass switch is open in 1 or 2 or 3 position but the KL1 or KL2 signals are not both active, then this error appears.
Page 25
45 SDB Bridging Error Cause SDB board cannot bridge safety line. Check 140, ML1, ML2 inputs, ML1 and ML2 switches and related magnets. Troubleshooting 1. Press M7-U1 enter to erase the UCM fault. 2. Check the reason that gave the UCM fault. sometimes after a startup this error appear for no reason.
Page 26
53 ML1 Open at Floor Cause If ML1 switch becomes passive [ML1=0] while the car is staying at floor level this error is created. If the doors are open then it is an UCM error and the system is blocked. Check the magnet and switch locations of ML1 and ML2.
Page 27
64 Brake Not Closed Cause Although the brake coil is not energized, no signal is re- ceived from brake feedback contact. Check BR1, BR2 terminals, contacts, definitions and related wiring. This error is reported only if the parameter A16 was set to 1 [A16=1].
Page 28
65 Brake Not Opened Cause Although brake coil is energized, signal is received from brake feedback contact. Check BR1, BR2 terminals, con- tacts, definitions and related wiring. This error is report- ed only if the parameter A16 was set to 1 [A16=1]. Troubleshooting 1.
Page 29
72 UCM Fault Cause Unintended Car Movement UCM is detected. This er- ror is created if the car leaves the door zone with open doors. This error is stationary and must be cleared man- ually. Check ML1 and ML2 switches and related magnet positions.
Page 30
82 CNT Short Circuit Cause This error is reported if the contactor feedback input is still on [CNT=1] while the lift is in motion. Check CNT terminal, contactor aux. contacts and their wiring. Troubleshooting 1. CNT is a single line with 230VAC connected to the main board CNT (for L) CNN (for N).
Page 31
84 ALSK / ALPK Not Present Cause If ALSK or ALPK board is not present or not connected to the car CANbus or there is a communication fault in this bus then this error is reported. Check terminal board, CAN bus wiring and 24V power supply (100-1000). Troubleshooting 1.
Page 32
85 SDB 141 Fault Cause When the car is at door zone and bridging is activated by the controller then 141 must be active. If not, then this error is created. Check SDB board. Troubleshooting 1. Press M7-U1 enter to reset this error and locate where the prob- lem is.
Page 33
86 Door Test Error Cause If the lift starts for a target floor without completing door open test at that floor successfully then this error is created. Troubleshooting 1. Parameter B56 refer to the door test procedure. This parameter defines if the door will make a self-check at every opening or only at first opening.
Page 34
87 Shaft Insp. Reset Cause To return to the normal mode from shaft inspection it is not sufficient to switch inspection off. KRR must be trigged once to clear shaft inspection. This message will be displayed after the shaft inspection switch has been returned to normal until KRR is switched once while the doors are closed.
Page 35
88 KL1 Shorted Cause Door closed contact of the first door is still closed [KL1=1] though the first door is open. Check contact, wiring and input definition of KL1. Troubleshooting 1. This error can only appear when you use bypass switch. this is showing that the door reads feedback KL1 but the door is not closed.
Page 36
89 KL2 Shorted Cause Door closed contact of the second door is still closed [KL2=1] though the second door is open. Check contact, wiring and input definition. Troubleshooting 1.
