The Thetford Battery Box is intended to accommodate an auxiliary battery in a caravan or motorhome (RV). The Battery Box has a CE socket to connect the RV to a 230 V power supply. Inside the Battery Box there is the option to fit several sockets and outlets. -
Page 8: Precautions And Safety Instructions
Act with caution as caustic substances are present in the battery. No smoking is allowed in the area of the Battery Box. Before removing a battery you should always check for spillages by touching the Soft Tray on the outside surface and sensing for any liquid spills. -
Page 9: Instruction
Incorrect connection of the cables will cause a short circuit with potential hazardous consequences. After fitting the terminals, lift the battery together with the Soft Tray into the middle of the Battery Box compartment. Push the Soft Tray with battery to the back of the Battery Box, into the safeguard bulge. If necessary shift the Soft Tray to the right or left until the battery is in place in the safety area (see photo 1). -

- Before the camping season or extensive traveling, check the Soft Tray for faults and replace if necessary. The cleaning of the Battery Box and Soft Tray should only be done after all power sources have been switched off, in order to prevent a hazardous situations. -

Batterien erhalten Säureflüssigkeiten, die bei unsachgemäßester Handhabung Verletzungen und Beschädigungen verursachen können. Lesen Sie bitte die Beschreibung auf der Batterie. -

- Das Rauchen in der Nähe der Batterie Box ist untersagt. - Bitte beachten Sie, daß der CE Anschluß bei max. 16 Amp. liegt. - Der Batterie Box von Thetford ist für die Verwendung von Batterien ausgelegt, die durch Befestigung am Batterieboden eingebaut werden. Diese Batterien sind an dem Rand an der Unterkante der Batterie zu erkennen. -

Door de flexibele bak zachtjes in te drukken kunt u zien of er vloeistof in beweging komt op de bodem van de flexibele bak. Wanneer u denkt dat er sprake is van lekkage, dient u de accu in de flexibele bak uit de Battery Box te tillen om morsen met accuzuur te voorkomen. -

Deze is herkenbaar aan een opstaande rand aan de voor- en achterkant van de accu. De opstaande rand wordt tegen de achterkant van de Battery Box geplaatst en past in het metalen plaatje dat aan de voorkant vastgeschroefd moet worden, waardoor de accu vast komt te staan. De diep- te van de accu, inclusief de opstaande rand, moet tussen de 173mm en 175mm zijn. -
