IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
2.
To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse hand mixer body or cord in the
water or other liquid. If hand mixer body or cord falls into liquid, unplug the cord from outlet
immediately. Do not reach into the liquid.
3.
Close supervision is necessary when mixer is used by or near children.
4.
Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before
cleaning.
5.
Avoid contacting moving parts.
6.
Do not operate mixer with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Call the designated call center at
1-866-321-9509 for customer service.
7.
The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock or injury.
8.
Do not use outdoors or in a damp area.
9.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the
stove.
10. Do not place mixer on or near a hot burner (gas or electric).
11. Keep hands, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters
during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damage to the mixer.
12. Remove beaters from mixer before washing.
13. Do not use mixer for other than intended use.
14. Do not operate the unit continuously for more than 3 minutes at each time. Let unit
cool for at least 20 minutes before next use.
15. Do not fill the mixing container to more than half of its capacity.
16. Do not mix hot ingredients.
17. To avoid overheating, do not mix bread dough or similar viscosity.
18. Never add ingredients to the container while the mixer is running.
