Page 4 Loosening the Slackline Always loosen the line before attempting to reposition obstacles or take down the line. Pull the safety latch inside the ratchet handle and open the ratchet all the way until it is completely ﬂat. There will be a loud click. 2.
Page 5 Care and Maintenance At the beginning of the play season: 1. Tighten all hardware: check the line, ratchet, Delta clips, and all connections for any sign of looseness, damage, wear, fraying, or sharp edges and replace as needed. 2. Lubricate all metallic parts: use grease or lubricating oil to lubricate the Delta clips for easy opening, and the ratchet for smooth tightening.
