Dino Paoli S.r.l. air pressure regulators are designed and manufactured according to good
construction practice. They meet the requirements of the PED 2014/68/UE Directive and are
exempt from the CE marking pursuant to article 4, paragraph 3.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND OPENING
L During the setting up operations, all
components in contact with gas must be
free of grease and oil.
L Follow scrupulously the instructions either
before then during the operations.
L Before installation check that the pressure
regulator is suitable to work with the
specific gas.
L Check that the regulator connection is clean
and not damaged. Otherwise the regulator
has not to be installed.
L Before connection of the regulator, open
and close completely the cylinder valve to
remove any possible impurity. Never stay
and put your hand in front of the cylinder
valve.
L Mount the pressure regulator on the
cylinder. Tighten the nut or hanger (1-7)
to connect the pressure regulator to the
cylinder valve. The regulator has to be
placed as showed in
screw (6) have to be unloosen turning it
anticlockwise (no gas must flow through the
low pressure chamber).
CLOSING
Close the cylinder valve and reduce the
pressure turning anticlockwise the adjusting
screw (6).

and the adjusting
L Connect the regulator to the system by the
outlet fitting (5).
L Open slowly the cylinder valve and the high
pressure gauge (2) will show the cylinder
pressure. Adjust the outlet pressure on the
low pressure gauge (4) turning clockwise
the adjusting screw (6).
L For setting outlet pressure, operate this way
(the value of outlet pressure is indicated by
low pressure gauge (4)):
⚪ To increase outlet pressure: spin to right
the adjusting screw (6) until the correct
outlet pressure is obtained. Do not force
the adjusting screw (6) to try to obtain
pressure higher than the maximal outlet
pressure
(view the Table
⚪ To decrease pressure: spin to left the
adjusting screw (6). This operation is not
sufficient to reduce outlet pressure: to
complete the decreasing is necessary
to vent a small flow of air through the
device.
L While operating, control the high pressure
gauge (2) to check the quantities of the air
remaining in the cylinder.
Depressurize the downstream system by acting
on the trigger of the wheel gun or by opening
the drain valve of the hose.
