INSTRUCTIONS FOR CUSHION REPAIR
Read through these instructions completely before attempting a repair.
What You Will Need to Repair Your VARILITE
• A VARILITE Universal Repair Kit
• A way to mark the leak (marker or pen)
• Scissors (optional for trimming cover patches)
Locating Leaks
If the leak is not obvious, open the valve and allow the cushion to inflate as
much as possible. Close the valve to prevent water from contaminating the
foam. Immerse the cushion in water. Small, escaping bubbles will indicate a
puncture. Mark the leak with a pen/marker, rinse the area and dry thoroughly
before proceeding.
