This is a Class 2 product – no earth required
•
This unit must be fitted by a competent person –
if in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
•
Install in accordance with IEE wiring regulations
and current Building Regulations.
•
To prevent electrocution, switch off mains supply
before installing or maintaining this fitting. Ensure
other persons cannot restore the electrical
supply without your knowledge.
•
This light fitting should be connected to a circuit with a 30Ma RCD fitted.
•
When changing the bulb(s), always switch off at the mains & allow the bulb to cool
before handling – LAMP WILL GET HOT WHEN IN USE.
•
All connections should be made as watertight as possible to avoid electrical shortage.
•
Always use the correct type & wattage of bulb. Never exceed the wattage stated.
•
The unit may get warm whilst on for a period of time.
•
Cable must NOT be buried – locate on the surface or hook up on fence
• The plug supplied is not waterproof. Connect to a waterproof socket or inside
socket only.
