SAFETY 1.1 At installation apply the finger trap caution stickers in visible areas. Ensure all electrical installation is carried out by a qualified electrician. The Greasebuster belt has been factory set and should not need adjusting until obvious wear occurs.
BELT ANGLE 3.1 To adjust the belt angle turn the adjusting nuts (A) in 1/2 turn increments at each side until the required angle is achieved. PADDLE WHEEL ANGLE The angle of the belt should be adjusted so approximately 2/3rds of the bottom roller (A) is submerged as shown above.
CHANGING THE BELT 5.1 Isolate the machine from the power supply. 5.2 Remove the machine from the tank and place it on a flat surface where it is safe to work. 5.3 To change the belt (25) it will be necessary to remove the side plate (19) from the machine. 5.4 Release the belt tension by slackening the upper bearing (4) retaining screws and tensioning screws (24).
SUPPORT STANDS 6.1 The machine can be positioned and fixed either by its base or to the side of the tank, whichever is appropriate for the installation. 6.2 The below picture illustrates the base mount configuration, due to the weight of the machine the base (4) must be fixed securely to a frame or to the floor to prevent the machine tipping over.

6.5 The below picture illustrates the tank mount configuration, the frame (3) slots on to the lip of the tank and the machine is fastened tom this frame. 6.6 The height can be adjusted by securing the frame (3) to the machine using the appropriate holes in the vertical members, two bolts each side must be used.

7.0 SCRAPPER BLADE ADJUSTMENT 7.1 The scraper blade (7) is mounted to the support bar (15), and the support bar is bolted to the slotted bracket (16). 7.2 To set the scraper blade release the two screws at the slot of bracket (16) at both sides of the scraper blade support.
8.0 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION Important: Before wiring up the control panel check all wiring is secure in existing terminals as shipping might have caused terminals to loosen. Installation should only be carried out by a qualified engineer. The Geasebuster has been preprogramed for optimum speed and heater temperature. However, industrials waste varies in density, solid content and temperature.

8.2 Speed Control The Greasebuster speed has been pre-set to F22. This should suit most oils and fats. The belt should run at an optimum speed to extract fats, oils and grease from the waste stream. It should be slow enough to allow water to run back off the belt.

CAUTION The collection box can get extremely hot and if the temperature is set too high could cause burns. The Greasebuster is fitted with a 200W, 230VAC plate heater attached to the underside of the collection chamber. To connect you must attach the thermistor lead and the power supply lead into the connection block located in the junction box under the collection chamber.

9.1 Wiring Connection WARNING Ensure the mains power supply is turned off before wiring the temperature controller. If the heater is not to be used always leave its MCB in the “OFF” position.
