26. Schritt:
Jetzt kommt die Fahrzeuglenkung
zur Montage. Achten Sie hier auf die
besonders kleinen Bauteile, diese gehen
sehr schnell verloren. Kleben Sie den
Lenkungshalter auf das Chassis.
Vergrößern Sie mit einem 1mm Bohrer
das Bohrungsloch der beiliegenden Len-
kung und der Aufhängung am Fahrwerk.
Achtung:
Die Bohrung darf nicht zu groß werden, sonst besteht keine Fixierung mehr im
Gehäuse. Eine zu kleine Bohrung führt dazu, dass Sie den Stift nicht durch die
Führung bringen. Bei zu großer Krafteinwirkung kann die Aufhängung am Fahr-
werk abbrechen.
27. Schritt:
Die Lenkung wird im Fahrwerk eingesetzt
und mit dem Bolzen in der Fahrwerksauf-
hängung fixiert. Der Bolzen geht schwer
durch die Führung und es ist etwas Druck
notwendig.
Achten Sie aber darauf, dass bei zu viel
Druck die Aufhängung vom Fahrwerk ab-
gebrochen werden kann. Wenn es nicht
funktioniert, vergrößern Sie nochmals
mit dem 1mm Bohrer alle Führungslö-
cher.
Eventuell macht es Sinn, das Kapitel 6 „Verbesserungen", vor dem Einbaub der
Lenkung vorzuziehen.
28. Schritt:
Jetzt wird der Lenkschleifer mit der kleinen Schraube auf der Lenkung montiert.
Drehen Sie die Schraube nicht komplett fest, damit sich die Lenkung noch drehen
kann.

Step 27:
Insert the steering into the chassis and fix it with the bolt in the suspension. The
bolt must sit tight so it might need some pressure to slide into the holes.
Make sure not to use too much pressure otherwise the suspension might break
off the chassis. If it does not work expand all holes again with the 1mm drill.

Step 26:
Now the vehicle steering can be moun-
ted. Take care of the very small parts
which might get lost very quickly. Glue
the steering bracket onto the chassis.
Expand the boring hole of the included
steering and the hole of the suspension
of the chassis with a 1mm (0.0039 in)
drill.
Warning:
The hole must not be enlarged too
much otherwise there is not enough
material for support by the chassis.
If the hole is too small the bolt will not
fit through the hole. Be careful not to
use too much force or you will break the
suspension of the chassis.
It may make sense to read Chapter 6
„Improvements" before installing the
steering.
Step 28:
Mount the steering slider onto the
steering with the small screw. Do not
tighten the screw too much, to allow
the steering to turn freely.
