Instructions for replacing the rechargeable battery P3120-1B (6 V/10 Ah)
The housing of the battery consists of a base plate and a
top. Both housing shells are held together on four sides
with metal plates with two screws each.
As soon as the rear screws were removed the base plate can be taken off.
The battery must be completely pushed out of the rack.
The only tool that is required to change the rechargeable battery is
To exchange the battery, the base plate has to be removed; it is required
to remove the 4 rear screws at the base plate before it can be removed.
Attention:
The rear screws are very short. We suggest storing them somewhere safely so
that they are not getting lost during exchanging the battery.
Hold the frame of the upper part with both hands and push the battery to
the back with your thumbs. If you press evenly on both sides, this should
be no a problem.
