Intended use
You can use the appliance to grind toasted coffee beans.
Do not insert other food but coffee. Any other use of the appliance is not intended by the
Manufacturer which disclaims all liability for damages of any kind caused by improper use
of the appliance itself. Improper use also results in any form of warranty being forfeited.

• The grinder and its compartment have sharp parts. Handle them carefully.
• Never touch the moving parts.
• Do not operate the appliance when it is empty.
• Do not insert your hands in the container when the appliance is connected with the
electric grid.
Material damage
• Always unwind the power cord before use.
• Do not pull the power cord to unplug the appliance.
• Do not place the appliance on or near heat sources.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or worktop and do not let it
touch hot surfaces.
• Do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sun, etc.).
• The appliance complies with EU Regulation 1935/2004 & EU Regulation 10/2011 on
the materials in contact with food.
• This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with
normal household waste (2012/19/EU).
• Follow your country's rules for the separate collection of electrical
and electronic products. Correct disposal helps prevent negative
consequences for the environment and human health.

First installation
1. Carefully unpack your coffee grinder and remove all packing materials.
2. Place the coffee grinder on a flat surface.
3. Remove and wash all components with tap water as described in the " cleaning and
maintenance" chapter.
4. Reassemble them in reverse order:
• Place the grinder (fig. 01-5) into its compartment aligning the groove (fig. 01-7)
with the reference tab in the coffee bean container (fig. 05).
5. Turn the grinder clockwise and put the handle down (fig. 06).
6. Place the coffee bean container (fig. 01-2) into its compartment. The release button
(fig. 01-16) should be aligned with the symbol open on the coffee bean container (fig.
07).
7. Turn the coffee bean container clockwise until it is tightly locked and the symbol
closed is aligned with the release button.
Note: The coffee grinder is not working if the coffee bean container is not correctly
inserted in its compartment.
Using the coffee grinder
1. Remove the coffee bean container lid (fig. 01-1) and add the proper amount of coffee
beans which should not exceed 300g-10,6oz.
2. Place back the lid on the coffee bean container.
3. Place the ground coffee container with its lid (fig. 01-3) on its base (fig. 04).
4. Ensure that the ground coffee outlet (fig. 01-11) is in correspondence with the opening
on the ground coffee container.
5. Turn the grinding selection dial (fig. 01-15) on the desired setting (fig. 09) from 1 very
fine to 15 coarse grinding.
6. Connect the machine to the electric network.
7. Turn the grinding time selection knob (fig. 01-12) to the desired setting (fig. 10). The
chosen symbol lights up. The amount of ground coffee depends on the grinding time
as per the below table.

8. Press the start/stop button and the coffee grinder starts grinding the coffee beans.
The start/stop button keeps blinking during the whole grinding process. The grinding
process can be stopped at any time, by pressing on the start/stop button (fig. 01-13).
Once the selected grinding time is over the grinder stops automatically.
Note: When selecting the " " symbol, do not grind a quantity that exceeds the ground
coffee container capacity (150g).
9. Remove the plug from the socket.
10. Remove the ground coffee container and turn the lid (fig. 01-3) counter-clockwise to
open and empty it.
Warning: After 5 minutes that the coffee grinder runs without coffee it stops automatically.
After 5 minutes that the coffee grinder runs, it must rest for 30 minutes. Do not run the
coffee grinder for more than 90 seconds. Wait 90 seconds between the two cycles.
After 90 seconds of inactivity, the machine enters in stand by mode and all lights turn off.

Cleaning and maintenance
A regular cleaning prolongs the life of your coffee grinder.
Warning: Before carrying out any cleaning operation, switch off the machine, remove the
mains plug from the wall socket and let the coffee grinder cool down.
Never immerse the motor body, the mains plug or the power cord in water or in any other
liquid. Do not fill the coffee bean container with water when assembled on the motor body.
Warning: The coffee grinder has sharp parts, handle them carefully.
Warning: check the state of the power cable of your appliance on a regular basis before using
it, and if it is damaged, take it to the service center closest to you to have it replaced only by
specialized personnel. Never use solvents which may damage the plastic parts. Don't use
potentially abrasive products.
1. Remove the coffee bean container lid (fig. 01-1).
2. Press the release button (fig. 01-16) and simultaneously turn the coffee bean container
(fig. 01-2) counter-clockwise.
3. The release button should be aligned with the symbol open (fig. 10).
4. Remove the coffee bean container.
5. Lift the grinder handle (fig. 01-6).
6. Turn the grinder counter-clockwise and remove it (fig. 03).
7. Remove the ground coffee container (fig. 01-4) from its base together with its lid (fig.
02).
8. Wash the coffee bean container, its lid and the grinder (fig. 01-5) under tap water.
9. Dry all the parts accurately
10. Clean the coffee grinder compartment (fig. 01-8) with a wet close and dry it.
Tips
A fine grinding is essential for brewing espresso.
A medium grinding is generally used for steam coffee machines (moka).
A coarse grinding is generally used for filter or drip coffee machines.
To keep all the aroma of the coffee, grind only the needed quantity and remove the coffee
beans left in the container before pouring fresh beans, to avoid affecting the taste of the
coffee ground afterwards.
Clean the appliance after every use.
Warning: Do not grind ice, spices, chocolate or oily products. These may damage the coffee
grinder.

• L'apparecchio deve essere utilizzato e lasciato a riposo su una superficie orizzontale e
stabile.

• Non toccare mai le parti in movimento.
• Non fare funzionare l'apparecchio a vuoto.
• Non inserire mai le mani nel recipiente quando l'apparecchio è collegato alla rete

Prima installazione
1. Disimballate con cautela il macinacaffè e rimuovete tutti i materiali d'imballaggio.
2. Posizionate il macinacaffè su un piano.
3. Rimuovete e lavate tutti i componenti con acqua corrente come descritto nel capitolo
"Pulizia e manutenzione".

4. Rimontateli nell'odine inverso:
• Posizionate la macina (fig. 01-5) nel suo vano allineando la scanalatura (fig. 01-7)
con l'indicazione di riferimento nello scomparto caffè in grani (fig. 05).
5. Ruotate la macina in senso orario e abbassate la maniglia (fig. 06).
6. Posizionate il contenitore del caffè in grani (fig. 01-2) nel suo scomparto. Il pulsante di
rilascio (fig. 01-16) deve essere allineato son il simbolo aperto sul contenitore del caffè
in grani (fig. 07).
7. Ruotate il contenitore del caffè in grani in senso orario fino a quando non è ben bloccato
e il simbolo chiuso è allineato al pulsante di rilascio.
Nota: Il macinacaffè non funziona se il contenitore del caffè in grani non è inserito
correttamente nel suo scompartimento.
Funzionamento
1. Rimuovete il coperchio del contenitore del caffè in grani (fig. 01-1) e aggiungete la giusta
quantità di chicchi di caffè, che non deve superare i 300g-10,6oz.
2. Riposizionate il coperchio sul contenitore del caffè in grani.
3. Posizionate il contenitore del caffè macinato con il suo coperchio (fig. 01-3) sulla base
(fig. 04).
4. Accertatevi che l'uscita del caffè macinato (fig. 01-11) sia in corrispondenza dell'apertura
del contenitore del caffè macinato.
5. Ruotate la manopola di selezione del grado di macinatura (fig. 01-15) sull'impostazione
desiderata (fig. 09) da 1 macinatura fine a 15 macinatura grossolana.
6. Collegate la macchina alla rete elettrica.
7. Ruotate la manopola di selezione del tempo di macinatura (fig. 01-12) sull'impostazione
desiderata (fig. 10). Il simbolo scelto si illumina. La quantità di caffè macinato dipende
dal tempo di macinatura secondo la tabella seguente.

8. Premete il pulsante START/STOP e il macinacaffè inizierà a macinare il caffè in
grani. Il pulsante START/STOP cuntinuerà a lampeggiare durante l'intero processo di
macinazione. Il processo di macinazione può essere interrotto in qualsiasi momento,
premendo il pulsante START/STOP (fig. 01-13). Al termine del tempo di macinatura
selezionato, la macina si arresta automaticamente.
Nota: Quando si seleziona il simbolo " ", non macinate una quantità che superi la
capacità del contenitore del caffè macinato (150g).
9. Rimuovete la spina dalla presa.
10. Rimuovete il contenitore del caffè macinato e ruotate il coperchio (fig. 01-3) in senso
antiorario per aprirlo e svuotarlo.
Attenzione: Dopo 5 min. che il macinacaffè funziona senza caffè, si ferma automaticamente.
Dopo 5 min. di funzionamento del macinacaffè, deve riposare per 30 minuti. Non fate
funzionare il macinacaffè per più di 90 sec. Attendere 90 sec. tra i due cicli. Dopo 90 sec. di
inattività, la macchina entra in modalità stand-by e tutte le spie si spengono.
Pulizia e manutenzione
Una pulizia regolare prolunga la vita del tuo macinacaffè.
Attenzione: Prima di eseguire qualsiasi operazione di pulizia, spegnete la macchina,
rimuovete la spina di alimentazione a muro e lasciate raffreddare il macinacaffè. Non
immergere mai il corpo del motore, la spina o il cavo di alimentazione in acqua o altri liquidi.
Non riempite il contenitore dei caffè in grani con acqua quando è montato sul corpo motore.
Attenzione: Il macinacaffè ha parti affilate, maneggiatelo con cura.
Attenzione: Controllate lo stato del cavo di alimentazione dell'apparecchio regolarmente
prima di utilizzarlo e se è danneggiato, portatelo al centro di assistenza più vicino per
farlo sostituire solo da personale specializzato. Non utilizzate mai solventi che potrebbero
danneggiare le parti in plastica. Non utilizzate prodotti potenzialmente abrasivi.

6. Ruotate la macina in senso antiorario e rimuovetela (fig. 03).
7. Rimuovete il contenitore del caffè macinato (fig. 01-4) dalla base, insieme al suo
coperchio (fig. 02).
8. Lavate il contenitore del caffè in grani, il coperchio e la macina (fig. 01-5) sotto l'acqua
corrente.
9. Asciugate accuratamente tutte le parti.
10. Pulite lo scomparto caffè in grani (fig. 01-8) con un panno umido e asciugatelo.
Consigli
Una macinatura fine è essenziale per la preparazione del caffè espresso.
Una macinatura media viene generalmente utilizzata per macchine da caffè a vapore (moka).
Una macinatura grossolana viene generalmente utilizzata per macchine da caffè a filtro.
Per mantenere tutto l'aroma del caffè, macinate solo la quantità necessaria e rimuovete
i chicchi di caffè rimasti nel contenitore prima di versare i chicchi freschi, per evitare di
influenzare il gusto del caffè macinato in seguito.
Pulite l'apparecchio dopo ogni utilizzo.
Attenzione: Non macinate ghiaccio, spezie, cioccolato o prodotti oleosi. Questi potrebbero
danneggiare il macinacaffè.

Warnung vor Verletzungen
• Das Mahlwerk und sein Fach weisen scharfe Teile auf. Gehen Sie vorsichtig damit um.
• Berühren Sie niemals die beweglichen Teile.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es leer ist.
• Stecken Sie Ihre Hände nicht in den Behälter, wenn das Gerät an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist.
Sachschäden
• Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel vor Gebrauch immer ab.
• Ziehen Sie nicht am Netzkabel, um das Gerät vom Stromnetz zu trennen.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht auf oder in die Nähe von Wärmequellen.
• Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über die Kante eines Tisches oder einer Arbeitsplatte
herunterhängen und lassen Sie es nicht mit heißen Oberflächen in Berührung
kommen.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen Witterungseinflüssen (Regen, Sonne usw.) aus.
Das Gerät entspricht der Verordnung (EG) 1935/2004 und der Verordnung (EU) Nr.
10/2011 über Materialien, die mit Lebensmitteln in Berührung kommen.
• Dieses Symbol bedeutet, dass dieses Produkt nicht mit dem normalen
Hausmüll entsorgt werden darf (2012/19/EU).
• Befolgen Sie die Vorschriften Ihres Landes für die getrennte Sammlung
von Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten. Eine ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung
trägt dazu bei, mögliche negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und die
Gesundheit der Menschen zu verhindern.
