This section provides information on the card-edge LEDs for the MUX-8258. Refer to Figure 1.2 for the location of the LEDs and controls. Legacy MUX-8258 series cards will include a card-edge 4-character display and the switches. Refer to the chapter “Card-edge Menus” on page 41 for details on this card-edge menu system.

Bootload Button In the unlikely event of a complete card failure, you may be instructed by a Ross Technical Support specialist to perform a complete software reload on the MUX-8258. To reload the software on a MUX-8258 Eject the card from the frame.
