Battery Precautions

1.
Alkaline batteries recommended.
2.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
4.
New and used batteries should not to be mixed.
5.
Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
6.
Different types of batteries are not to be mixed.
7.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
8.
Keep batteries away from children.
9.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
10. Exhausted batteries are disposed according to local legal requirements. Do not dispose of
them by throwing away with normal household rubbish.
11. Avoid short circuiting the contacts in the battery compartment and battery terminals.
12. Remove batteries from the unit if it will be not used for long period of time.

Installing the batteries

Your Robot bank requires 4 X AA batteries (2 for sound &
display and 2 for the movement). For best performance we
recommend to use alkaline batteries.
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw from the
battery compartment cover, as shown in the illustration,
and remove the cover.
2. Insert the batteries in the compartment as indicated by the
polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.

  • Page 2 3. Replace the cover and tighten the screw. When the robot stops operating properly, replace with new batteries. Note: When the robot bank stops operating properly or if the display becomes dim, or the sound becomes weak, replace with new batteries in the CLOCK compartment. When the Robot bank doesn't move the arms, mouth and eyes, replace new batteries in MOTOR compartment.
  • Page 3 Note: Alarm will sound when alarm time is reached and Robert Bank will say “Hey! It’s time to wake up.” Press any key to stop the alarm. The announcement will only be made if the SOUND function is set to ON position otherwise only the alarm sound will be heard. Setting the Target Savings Amount In Normal Time Mode, press TARGET key to enter the Target Saving Mode, Robot will announce to set target savings amount.
