Page 3 1. V ERTIKUTIEREN Feste Böden, Moos und Unkraut hindern junges Gras am Wachsen: der Rasen ist verfilzt und das Gras wird vom Unkraut verdrängt. Dieser Vertikutierer wurde entwickelt, um Moos und Unkraut herauszureißen und den Bo- den zu lüften. Als Folge kann das junge Gras nach oben wachsen und sprießen und nichts wird von Moos bedeckt.

Page 9 3.4 B ETRIEB Halten Sie Hände und Füße während des Betriebs von der Unterverkleidung und dem rückseitigen Austrittskanal fern. Rennen Sie nicht; laufen Sie normal. Achten Sie auf Hängen auf einen sicheren Stand. Mähen Sie an Hängen nicht auf und ab, sondern parallel zum Hang. Besondere Vorsicht ist geboten, wenn Sie auf Hängen die Richtung wechseln.
Page 10 Ein länger anhaltender Betrieb des Geräts kann aufgrund der Vibrationen Durchblu- tungsstörungen in den Händen hervorrufen. Diese Auswirkungen können bei niedrigen Temperaturen und/oder durch übermäßig festes Anfassen der Handgriffe noch ver- stärkt werden. Sie können die Arbeitsdauer verlängern, indem Sie entsprechende Handschube tragen oder regelmäßig Pausen einlegen.

Page 22 Abb. 9h 9. W ARTUNG UND FLEGE 9.1 A LLGEMEINE NLEITUNGEN Warnung: Führen Sie vor Wartungs- und Reinigungsarbeiten immer erst folgende Schritte durch: Lassen Sie den Motor abkühlen. Wählen Sie mit dem Höheneinstellhebel die höchste Position (Transport, positiver Bo- denabstand). Stellen Sie den Transportschalthebel auf die Transportposition.
Page 23 Luftfilter VORSICHT: Achten Sie darauf, dass das Luftfilter-Schaumelement nicht mit Staub oder Schmutz verstopft. Das Luftreinigungselement muss alle drei Monate gewartet (gereinigt) werden. Das Schau- melement muss öfters gereinigt werden, falls der Rasenmäher in trockenen, staubigen Um- gebungen verwendet wird. Drücken Sie auf die Verriegelungen an der Seite der Filterabdeckung (Abb.

Halten Sie das Kühlsystem (Bereich des Lüftergehäuses) sauber, um eine ordnungsgemäße Zirkulation zu gewährleisten, die für die Leistung und Langlebigkeit des Motors unabdingbar ist. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Gras, Schmutz und brennbare Rückstände vom Schalldämpferbereich ent- fernt werden.
