    1. Important Information Before first use • Read and follow all the instructions below even if you feel you are familiar with the appliance. • Remove the packing and make sure that the appliance is intact. lf in doubt do not use the appliance and contact the manufacturer.
  • Page 7 Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Never clean the appliance parts with flammabie fluids, as the fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion. Do not store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapors and liquids near this or any other appliance.

    2. Installation This cooler is a freestanding unit and should not be installed inside a cabinet or other built-in enclosure. Seasoning your cigar cooler It is best to season your wood shelves and drawers before adding your cigars so that the wood is at an ideal relative humidity (RH) and does not absorb humidity from your cigars.

Operating instructions Operating environment It is recommended to install the cooler in an area where the ambient temperature is between 18 °C-26 °C. lf the ambient temperature is above or below the recom- mended ranges, the unit’s performance may be affected, and extreme cold or hot conditions may cause the interior temperature to fluctuate.

    4. Cleaning & maintenance Cleaning your cooler To clean your cooler: • Unplug the cooler and remove anything inside . • Remove the shelves and wash the inside of the unit with a solution made of warm water and baking soda solution (2 tablespoons of baking soda to one litre of water).

    The ideal relative humidity (RH) for storing cigars is between 65 % and 75 % RH. To properly maintain RH in the Model Cave Cigar, you will need to include a method of adding humidity. For your convenience, a moisture container is included.
