PSL 5.0 Pump Station Level Controller UNITS/MODE --Units/Mode-------- Mode Level Linear press the and then the or to select From Mode Level Temperature Range mode displays distance from the sensor to the target or liquid surface Range like a tape measure.
Max Range Minimum damping allows fast response to level changes. Damping Increasing damping slows the PSL 5.0's response to level changes and is ideal to smooth the display and outputs in turbulent conditions. Damping value is shown in percent (0-99%). Some experimentation may be required to select the optimum damping value.

Examples: The PSL 5.0 sensor is installed in a lift station with a Max Range of 15 ft, and a Min Range of 5 ft. The PSL 5.0 is in Range mode, selected in the Units/Mode menu. When the water level in the tank is 15 ft away from the sensor, the meter reports 20mA, and when the level is 5 ft away from the sensor, the meter reports 4mA.
