installation should be in accordance with the requirements of
Class A1R (58ºC)

The detector attaches to compatible bases with a plug-and-
twist action.

To attach the detector to the mounting base:

No wiring is required between the detector and the base.
Align the unit to the base, and then slowly turn until the
location pin on the detector base engages with the slot on
the detector moulding.
