    NOTES ___________________________________________________ Your Digta 410 is a digital portable dictation machine. It can be used with the software supplied as a single-user dictation system. In addition, you can connect it to your network (local network with several authors and transcribers) with the optional network license.

    PREPARATION _______________________________________ Battery operation The dictation machine can be used for approximately 10 hours when the alkaline manganese batteries are fully charged. • Open the battery compartment. • Insert the appropriate batteries (2 x 1.5 V, Type Micro/ AAA, for example LR 03/AM-4). Please make sure the polarity is correct.

    RECORDING __________________________________________ Saving dictations Dictations are stored in the internal memory of the dictation machine. There are six folders available for this purpose: one main folder and five subfolders labeled A, B, C, D, and E. This allows you to sort your dictations (for example to assign them beforehand to different transcribers).
