Bij ontvangst verwijdert u alle tape van het apparaat, verwijder het Plastic Body welke 4 pennen bevat.
Zorg er voor dat het deksel altijd op dezelfde manier terug geplaatst wordt omdat het maar op één manier
goed past. AUB LEES HEEL DEZE BLADZIJDE!
2. Dag Model (Day Model)
Neem een geladen accu van 12 volt, plaats deze of in de kist of als hij te groot is ernaast.
Er is ruimte gelaten om de accu klemmen naar buiten te brengen. Sluit de accu klemmen op de juiste polen
aan. Rood = + en zwart = -- Trek de plastic pop over de bovenzijde van de kist, op die manier dat de naden
van de pop in het midden van de korte zijkanten van de bak zitten en het elastiek in de rand van de bak past.
Zet de ON (aan) schakelaar naar beneden om te testen. Als het nodig is om vaker te testen, schakel het
apparaat uit (OFF) en na een paar seconden weer aan, anders moet u 18 minuten wachten.
LET OP: het apparaat werkt alleen in het daglicht en niet binnen in een gebouw met verlichting aan.
Om de gevoeligheid van de lichtsensor te vergroten schakelt u de bovenste schakelaar naar beneden.
3. Multiuse Model (24 uur model)
De procedure is hetzelfde als hierboven alleen is het aan te bevelen om de 3-weg schakelaar op "24hrs" te
zetten en pas op day (dag) of night (nacht) wanneer hij op de plaats staat waar hij zijn werk moet doen.

Wanneer u het apparaat in het veld neerzet zorgt u ervoor dat hij vlak staat.
Wanneer de accu niet in de kist is geplaatst dient u het apparaat vast te zetten met de bijgeleverde pennen
in de grond (aan de onderzijde van de bak zijn hiervoor 4 gaatjes aangebracht).
U dient te voorkomen dat het apparaat omvalt omdat het accuzuur het apparaat kan beschadigen.
5. Aanbevelingen
Smeer de accu polen in met vaseline om corrosie te voorkomen.
Verplaats het apparaat minimaal 1x maal in de week en herlaad de accu.
De accu heeft een kortere levensduur wanneer hij elke keer leeg getrokken wordt.
Plaats het apparaat zo dat de pop niet voor de sensor valt, omdat het dan te donker kan zijn.
Wanneer de Scarey Man voorzien is van een variabele timer: open het deksel aan de
bovenkant, daar ziet u een draaiknop waarmee u zelf de actie tijd in kunt stellen.
Als de Scarey Man niet gebruikt wordt staat hij graag schoon en droog.
DE ACCU HEEFT EEN LANGE LEVENSDUUR ALS U HEM, BIJ LANGE TIJD NIET GEBRUIKEN,
REGELMATIG AAN DE ACCULADER ZET.
BELANGRIJK
Een accu met de maten: lengte 24 cm,
breedte 17 cm, hoogte 21 cm past
precies in de kist.
U bereikt de beste resultaten met uw
Scarey Man wanneer u hem regelmatig
verplaatst.
Hoe groter de problemen met wild, hoe
vaker u hem moet verplaatsen, desnoods
dagelijks. Daar kan ook bij horen op een
verhoging (op een stapel pallets), zodat
het voor het wild steeds weer anders lijkt.
In de boomgaard moet hij uiteraard boven
het gewas uitkomen.

Upon receipt remove all taped packaging, and remove the Plastic Body which contains the 4 holding pegs.
MAKE SURE THAT THE LID IS ALWAYS CORRECTLY REPLACED AS IT ONLY FITS PROPERLY ONE WAY.
PLEASE READ ALL MODEL UNIT INSTRUCTIONS!
2. Day models
Take a fully charged 12 volt battery and either place inside the base unit or if too big, outside at the side of
the unit, and feed the crocodile clips through the large hole in the side and connect up to the correct polarity.
Stretch the plastic man over the top rim and lid of the unit, ensuring that the seams of the body are
approximately central at each end, and switch the ON switch down to test. If a further test is required the unit
OFF ON
must be switched then again; otherwise it will not display for 18 minutes.
Please note that the unit works from daylight and will NOT work inside a building with lights on.
3. Multiuse Models
The procedure is similar but it is recommended that for the initial test the 3-way switch be set at "24Hrs" and
then switched to day or night work when placed on site.

When placing on site ensure that the base unit sits firm and level, and also if the battery is not within the base
unit it should be stabilised with the 4 pegs being forced into the ground so that the hooks on the pegs locate into
the 4 holes on the base rim of the unit. This must be determined whilst the unit is in situ, but great care should be
taken that the unit does not fall over whilst in use otherwise any battery acid may damage the unit.
5. Recommendations
Smear the crocodile clips in grease to prevent corrosion.
Move the unit within it's working area every few days and once a week charge the battery.
The battery will fail if it is allowed to constantly run flat.
A 12 volt 75 to 85 Amp hour battery should last 14 to 21 days on a standard day unit.
When the battery is not used for a long time: charge every 2 months.
Make sure the plastic man does not fall over the clear lens.
A battery of the size: 24 x 17 cm and 21 cm high fits well in the box.
YOUR BATTERY WILL LAST A LONG TIME, WHEN YOU CHARGE THE BATTERY ALSO IF
BATTERY IS NOT USED.
IMPORTANT
Battery with size: length 24 cm
wide 17 cm and high 21 cm will fit
into the unit.
You get the best result of your
Scarey Man when you move him
regularly.
The bigger the problems with
animals and birds, the more often
you must move the unit.
Good idea: place te unit more than
1 meter high, for the wildlife this
looks different.
In orchards the Scarey Man must
rise above the trees.
