HYBRID TECHNOLOGY

Thank you for your purchase of this quality Hybrid powered clock. Your clock operates using its advanced
Hybrid power system which automatically switch between solar and battery power depending on the
lighting conditions. The advantage of using a Hybrid power system is that it is more environmentally
friendly and will extend normal battery life to 4 – 5 years.

TO SET THE CLOCK

1. Slide the Power ON/OFF switch to ON position.
2. Press the reset button – To do this, use a pin to push through the hole.
The clock will now beep and display 12:00.
Note: To save you having to reset the clock for DST (Daylight saving time) please take the following
actions before setting the clock. Summer time starts on the last Sunday in March and ends on the last
Sunday in October. If you are setting the clock during this time please make sure the DST symbol
is
showing on the display before proceeding to number 3.
To do this, slide the DATE/ALARM/LOCK/TIME switch to the LOCK position.

, TIME/YEAR button once to turn ON or OFF DST. When DST is "ON" the DST symbol
will appear on the display to indicate Summer time. The clock time will advance by one hour.
