  • Page 9 EMPTYING THE WATER CONTAINER During the process of cooling, some water will be extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. This is a feature not found in most portable air conditioners. If the unit is operated in VERY HUMID air, water will collect in the container inside the unit.
  • Page 10 CLEANING Always unplug the unit from the power supply (wall outlet) before beginning the cleaning. Housing Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the body clean. Never use strong chemicals, oil- based products, detergents, chemically treated cloths or other cleaning solutions. These could possibly damage the housing.

Het meeste water wordt gebruikt om het apparaat zelf te koelen en efficiënter te laten werken. Deze functie is uniek voor verplaatsbare airconditioners. Als de airconditioner in ZEER VOCHTIGE lucht moet werken, zal water in de opvangbak in het apparaat lopen.

Il faudra toutefois tenir compte des points suivants : • Le climatiseur doit être posé debout sur une surface plane. • Ne pas placer l’appareil à proximité d’une baignoire, d’une douche ou de toute autre zone mouillée ou humide.
