OPERATION
USING THE MODE SELECTOR
See Figure 2, page 13.
The sprayer has three spray modes and a prime mode.
Rotate the mode selector to choose the appropriate mode.
NOTE: When one of the spray modes is selected, the word
"SPRAY" will appear in the indicator window. When the
prime mode is selected, "PRIME" will appear in the indica-
tor window.
 PRIME - Select this mode and squeeze the trigger to
draw liquid from the tank and through the lines to create
a consistent spray.
 SPRAY (50 Microns) - Select this mode to create a spray
made up of small droplets that absorb quickly.
 SPRAY (75 Microns) - Select this mode to create a spray
made up of medium sized droplets.
 SPRAY (100 Microns) - Select this mode to create a
spray made up of large droplets that absorb slowly.
NOTE: Select the correct nozzle for optimal performance.
Some products become less effective if absorbed too quickly
or too slowly. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the
product you are spraying.
NOTE: If nozzles become clogged, see instructions in Main-
tenance section to clear blockage.
FILLING THE TANK
See Figures 3 - 5, pages 13.
Before filling the tank, always remove the battery pack.
Turn electrostatic function off before removing the bat-
tery from the unit. Wipe up any spills before inserting the
battery pack. Following this rule will reduce the risk of
electric shock and corrosive liquids entering the battery
pack, which can cause battery pack failure including short
circuit resulting in smoke, fire, and/or serious personal
injury.
Always follow the chemical manufacturer's instructions
printed on their product labeling for use, cleaning, and
storage. Do not combine chemicals. Clean thoroughly
after each use, following the instructions in the
Maintenance section of this manual. Chemicals should
be stored out of the reach of children. Failure to do so
may result in serious personal injury.
