    ABOUT THE MANTIS SUB ENCLOSURE The Mantis Sub is a sealed aluminium enclosure to support the operation of the popular Insta360 Pro or Pro2 camera in the underwater environment at depths to 90 metres / 300 feet. The distinctive hexagonal geometry of the allows an uninterrupted 360-degree view with clean zenith and nadir.

    1x M14 port plug, installed. • 2x M16 port plug, installed. • 1x Camera tray with battery shuttle and Mantis electronics. • 1x Pelican Storm IM2275 or Pelican 1557 Air case • 2x 2dBi SMA stub antennas (replace Insta360 standard to fit inside housing).

    • The Mantis controller boots (~25 seconds). During booting the LED changes from red to green to white. • A white LED signals that the Mantis controller is ready and waiting for connection to the Insta360 Pro/Pro2. • The battery pack can power the Mantis controller for 12 hours.

    PRE-DIVE CHECKLIST 1. Confirm the Insta360 Pro/Pro2 is charged and properly seated 2. Confirm the Ethernet cable is connected. 3. Confirm the controller is powered on. 4. Confirm the O-ring is in place, undamaged, and free of debris. 5. Confirm all four latches have locked securely. 6.

    If the camera doesn’t boot, try holding the button for 10 seconds for a soft reset. Then press the button again to start the camera. • After the camera has booted, the Mantis controllers automatically connects to the camera.

    • Navigate to http://192.168.2.1/ • Follow on-screen instructions. ADJUSTING RECORDING SETTINGS • The Mantis controller includes a WiFi Access Point to allow you to view status, logs, and change settings. • Connect to the WiFi “Mantis” with password 88888888 (8 times 8).
