About this product:
The Wireless Foot Switch can be used in conjunction with
any of our desktop mounted keypads as an additional meth-
od of controlling the desk without missing out on the Ad-
vanced Keypad features.
The Wireless Foot Switch functions similarly to the Basic
Keypad in that it can only be used to raise and lower the
desk without the added programming features included with
our Advanced Keypads. The main difference with the Foot
Switch is that you control the desk movement with your foot
instead of your hand. The Foot Switch is powered by two
AAA batteries (not included) and sends a wireless signal to
the Receiver which connects to the desk's control box.
Step 1
Connect the Receiver cable to the "HS" port on the desk's con-
trol box. If you are adding the Wireless Foot Switch to be used
as a second control of your desk, first disconnect the existing
keypad.
Once the Receiver is connected to the control box, plug the
desk mounted keypad into the port on the Receiver.
Finally, attach the Receiver to a suitable location under your
desktop using the provided Wood screw or Adhesive strip. If
you choose the Adhesive strip, peel the backing off both sides,
place the strip on the back of the Receiver and then press firmly
against the bottom of your desktop for about 10 seconds. (see
fig. 1)
Be sure to take existing and future desk accessories into ac-
count when deciding where to mount the Receiver.
Step 2
Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, remove the battery
compartment cover located on the bottom side of the Foot
Switch.
Insert two AAA batteries (not provided) into the battery com-
partment. Be sure to align the "+" mark on the batteries with
the "+" indicator on the battery compartment.
Replace the battery compartment cover and place the Foot
Switch on the floor where it is most convenient for use.
Keep the Foot Switch under the desk to avoid trips and falls.
The location of the Foot Switch is flexible due to its wireless
connection to the Receiver.
