Before first use

7. Remove any sticker, protective foil or storage cover from the soleplate.
8. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
9. Put the iron on the iron rest
10. Unwind the power cord and the steam cord fully, and insert the power plug into the power socket.
11. Set the thermostat button on the « MAX » position, let the iron heat up for few minutes then
start to iron on a cloth for few minutes in order to all the residue present on or under the
soleplate.
12. Take out the anti-calc cartridge from its location, immerse it for at least one minute into water
then wipe it with a cloth before putting it back into its location.
NOTE: It is normal that strange odor comes out from the unit for the first use. This will cease after a short
while. Some particles may come out of the soleplate when you use the iron for the first time. This is
normal; the particles are harmless and stop coming out of the iron after a short while.
When you switch on the appliance, the steam station iron may produce a pumping sound. This is normal;
the sound tells you that water is pumped into the soleplate. During the heating process of the soleplate,
there will be little steam coming out from the soleplate automatically and this phenomenon will continue
for about 3 seconds.

Using your steam generator

1. Filling the tank water
 Retrieve the water tank from its location, open the water tank filler. Fill in the water tank with a
jug without exceeding the "MAX" level of water indicator then close the water tank filler before
putting the water tank back into its location. Always check that you have well put back the water
tank into its location before starting to use your steam generator.
 Push the reset button to turn off the warning indicator light of low water level and to unlock the
water pump safety.
 Always fill in the water tank before using the steam generator.
 You can always refill your water tank when in use. Just follow the above step of water filling when
the warning light indicator of low water level is on. Retrieve the water tank from its location,
open the water tank filler. Fill in the water tank with a jug without exceeding the "MAX" level of
water indicator then close the water tank filler filler before putting the water tank back into its
location.
WARNING : The water tank base has a valve supplying the water to the boiler, therefore
always check that you have well put back the water tank into its location before starting to
use your steam generator. Otherwise, water may leak from the base.
Note: Your steam generator has been designed to function using tap water. If your tap water is very hard
water type, we advise you to mix 50% tap water with 50% of distilled water available in most shops. In
