Step 1
Which s ide i s U P?
The side with the EESeal
and i s v isible a fter t he E ESeal i s i nserted.
Important Note: It is imperative that the EESeal be inserted "right
side u p". F ailure t o d o so w ill p revent t he E ESeal from w orking a s it's
intended t o, a nd m ay c ause f unctional p roblems.
Step 2
Orient t he E ESeal
With the correct side up, orient t he EESeal so
i t s p i n h o l e s r o u g h l y a l i g n t o t h e
corresponding pins in the host connector.
Most EESeals have at least pin A (or pin 1 if
your connector has numbers) marked to
assist y ou i n t his o rientation.
Important Note: It is imperative that the EESeal be inserted so its
pinholes are aligned w ith t he matching p ins in t he connector – p in A
to pin A, or pin 1 to pin 1, and so on. Your EESeal may have a
different t reatment for each p in, and p roper orientation will ensure
each p in g ets t he c orrect c ircuit c onnection.
