Opening mpg-70 to install memory card

step 1

remove the 9 screws marked with red arrows.

Use the diagram above to locate the 9 front panel screws to be removed. Do not remove any of the screws

not marked with arrows, as this will create mor work for you and make reassembly more difficult. The 4

screws that are not removed are the ones holding the rear plate to the face. The face and rear plate are re-

moved as one assembly.

Page 2 Once the 9 screws have been removed from the faceplate, remove the 2 screws on the left side of the unit, and the 2 screws on the right side of the unit. Remove the 4 black screws on the bottom of the unit. Now that the screws have all been removed, the faceplate can be removed from the rear enclosure by sliding the face toward the back of the unit.
Page 3 Once complete, it is a good idea to power up the board to be sure that the MPG-70 boots correctly. The unit will not boot if the card is plugged in back- wards.
