INTRODUCTION The 19-inch Grand Audition MK2 loudspeaker switching system by Palmer is the perfect tool for controlling up to 16 individual loudspeakers or eight loudspeaker pairs plus up to eight subwoofers. It is equipped with balanced stereo input with XLR connectors and an internal music player with a USB port. The system can be controlled either manually on the device itself or remotely with a browser-based app. -

CABLING/WIRING EXAMPLE Music player CONNECTIONS, CONTROL, AND DISPLAY ELEMENTS LINE VOLTAGE SELECTOR 115/230 Check the switch for setting the operating voltage before connecting the device to the power supply. The line voltage of your energy supply and the operating voltage of the device must be the same. IP Address 192.168.2.99 GRAND AUDITION MK2 CASCADING Up to three Grand Audition MK2s can be cascaded and cabled/wired together or controlled with WLAN from a computer or tablet. To do this, use an Ethernet switch or a WLAN router with at least three LAN ports (see WLAN router example below). -

BROWSER-BASED CONTROL APP In the login window, enter admin for USER, admin for PASSWORD, and then click the LOGIN button (change username and password under the USER tab). Click LOGOUT to log out. The login procedure will stop if an incorrect password or a username that does not match the password is entered during login. - Page 13 MAIN Control over the main volume of all line outputs, including the cascaded units. Channels can be individually named by clicking the corresponding edit button and entering the desired name in the New Channel Name field that opens up. Click Save changes to save your entry; click Close to cancel your entry. USER Click the USER tab to manage user accounts and passwords. BEDIENTASTER LOUDSPEAKER & SUBWOOFER Ausgang ein- / ausschalten (ON/OFF): Mit Hilfe der Bedientaster können die Line-Ausgänge ein- und ausgeschaltet werden. Drücken Sie hierfür jeweils kurz auf den entsprechenden Taster, bei der Stereo-Konfiguration ist die Verwendung des oberen oder unteren Tasters beliebig. Wenn ein Ausgang ausgeschaltet wird, erlischt die zugehörige LED, ist der Ausgang eingeschaltet, leuchtet die LED permanent. -

KABELGEBUNDENE VERBINDUNG VIA ETHERNET Um eine kabelgebundene Verbindung herzustellen, verwenden Sie die Ethernet-Schnittstelle Ihres Rechners und verbinden diese direkt mit der Ethernet-Schnittstelle der Grand Audition MK2 mit Hilfe eines Ethernet-Ka- bels (min. CAT5e). Schalten Sie die Grand Audition MK2 ein. Geben Sie in den System-Einstellungen Ihres Rechners unter Eigenschaften von Internetprotokoll Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) manuell die IP-Adresse 198.168.2.1 und die Subnetzmaske 255.255.255.0 ein und bestätigen die Eingabe (die Werte werden in den verschiede- nen Betriebssystemen auf ähnliche Weise eingegeben, siehe Beispiel-Abbildungen unten). -

GRAND AUDITION MK2 KASKADIEREN IP Address 192.168.2.99 Bis zu 3 Grand Audition MK2 können kaskadiert und gemeinsam kabelgebunden oder über WLAN von ei- nem Rechner oder einem Tablet gesteuert werden. Verwenden Sie hierfür einen Ethernet Switch oder einen WLAN-Router mit mindestens 3 LAN-Ports (im Beispiel unten WLAN-Router). Die Einstellung der IP-Adressen muss vor der ersten gemeinsamen Inbetriebnahme für jedes Gerät separat nacheinander in der browser- basierten App Grand Audition unter DEVICES erfolgen, setzen Sie für jedes Gerät eine eigene IP-Adresse im definierten Adressraum (z.B. -

BROWSERBASIERTE STEUERUNGS-APP Im Login-Fenster geben Sie bei USER admin ein, bei PASSWORD ebenfalls admin und klicken dann auf die Schaltfläche LOGIN (ändern von Nutzername und Passwort unter Registerkarte USER). Zum Ausloggen klicken Sie auf LOGOUT. Wird beim Login-Vorgang ein falsches Passwort bzw. ein Nutzername nicht passend zum Passwort einge- geben, wird der Login-Prozess nicht weitergeführt und eine entsprechende Fehlermeldung wird angezeigt: „Can‘t login: Unknown User or Password“, zu Deutsch: „Anmeldung nicht möglich: Unbekannter Nutzer oder Passwort“. - Page 35 MAIN Kontrolle über die Gesamtlautstärke aller Line-Ausgänge inklusive der kaskadierten Einheiten. DEVICES Klicken Sie auf die Registerkarte DEVICES, um das Fenster zum Anzeigen und Editieren der Geräteeinstellun- gen zu öffnen. Hier können Signalquelle, Eingangsverstärkung, Ausgangsmodus und die Netzwerkeinstellun- gen der angeschlossenen Grand Audition MK2 Geräte nach Wunsch verändert werden.
