CARE & MAiNTENANCE Replacing The filter The filters used in all of Alen air purifiers are not designed to be washed, cleaned or other- wise reused. Please replace filter regularly to maintain optimal high performance. Failure to change your filter on a regular basis will cause dust and particles to build up which can cause the unit to fail. -

Page 10: Troubleshooting Tips
Lay the unit on its side and remove the screws of the UV light compartment under the base of the unit. Remove the screw that is holding the wire harness. Use one or two flat tip screw drivers to depress the clip on each side of the UV light holder. Remove the old UV light and insert the UV light into the unit, making sure not to touch the glass part of the bulb with you bare fingers as it can lower the life of the bulb. -
