The Complete Network Performance Solution
The Alacritech TCP offload technology allows servers to scale in performance.
By relieving the host CPU of the burden of processing network traffic, more power is
applied to processing applications. Alacritech's fourth-generation 1 Gigabit Scalable
Network Accelerator™ (SNA) includes a custom ASIC that has been specifically designed
to move network data as fast and as efficiently as possible. This improved performance
means supporting more users, adding more applications, and executing applications
faster. This greatly enhances the server's usefulness, resulting in fewer servers overall,
cutting power and licensing costs, and extending service life.

and Windows Server® 2008, utilizes Alacritech's patented technology.

Advanced Features

Alacritech supports MPIO, network teaming, failover, and SAN boot. No other
iSCSI card on the market can match Alacritech's ability to complete an IP SAN.
Universal iSCSI Compatibility
Unlike iSCSI HBAs, which use proprietary initiator software, Alacritech
SNAs take advantage of the Microsoft iSCSI initiator to connect to
iSCSI targets. SNAs appear as NICs to Windows so customers can be
confident Alacritech SNAs are compatible with their iSCSI target.
