Make sure that the thread of your valve is in good condition and, if necessary, remove limescale and other deposits from it. Now screw on the Alb Filter Duo by turning the ribbed union nut (3). Installation Alb Filter Duo with adapter Please determine the thread type of your tap before installation. If you have any questions, you can get in touch with us by using the contact details on our website. Approach: Close the water inlet of your tap. Remove the Alb Filter Duo from the packaging. - Page 17 Make sure that the thread of your valve is in good condition and, if necessary, remove limescale and other deposits from it. Now screw the appropriate thread adapter into your tap. (Picture 2a) Attach the union nut (3) of the Alb Filter Duo to the previously screwed-in threaded adapter.

Page 20: Changing The Filter Cartridge
Changing the filter cartridge Approach: Close the inlet of your tap. Unscrew the lower cap (7) of the Alb Filter Duo from the filter body (2). (Picture 3a) - Page 21 If the cap cover is too tight, please use a 24 mm open- end wrench. Use a cloth to avoid scratches. After opening the housing cap, the filter cartridge is visible. The filter cartridge is fitted in the lower cover by means of two O-rings (press fit).
- Page 22 For filter cartridges that are difficult to install, the sealing rings of the cartridge should be moistened with water or Vaseline / milking grease (food grade). Screw the lower cap back onto the filter body (2) and tighten it hand-tight. A gap (1 mm) may be visible! (Picture 3d)

Page 24: Maintenance
Maintenance The Alb Filter Duo is basically low-maintenance. However, the maximum service life of the respective filter cartridges must be observed. It is recommended to do the following with each cartridge change: • Cleaning of housings and seals. • Cleaning the strainer insert of the faucet aerator. - Page 25 Changing the filter cartridge We recommend changing the filter cartridges every four to six months (according to DIN 1988). After longer periods of non-usage (> 6 weeks), the cartridges should also be replaced. Warranty claims are void if these instructions are not followed.

An early filter cartridge change is not a defect of the used cartridge, but an indication of higher concentrations of fine particles or other pollutants in the unfiltered water.
