Installation
The following steps and screen shots are for Windows XP only. Please
refer to the User's Manual in the CD for Windows 98/ME/2000.
Step 1
Power on your computer and connect the USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapter to
your computer's USB port.
Step 2
Insert the Driver CD into your CD drive.
Step 3
If the autorun screen appears, click Exit to close the autorun screen.

Step 4
Select No, not this time and click Next if Windows ask to connect to
Windows Update.
Step 5
Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) and click

Step 1 Power on your computer and connect the USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapter to your computer’s USB port. - Page 2 Step 6 Verify Search for the best driver in these locations is selected and both check boxes below are checked and click Browse. Step 7 Expand your CD drive, select the WinXP folder and click OK. Step 8 Click Next to install the driver. Step 9 Click Continue Anyway at the Windows Logo prompt.

Right-click on My Computer from your desktop and select Properties. Step 2 Select the Hardware tab and click on Device Manager. Step 3 Expand Network adapters from the list and verify that ASIX ax88772 USB2.0 to Fast Ethernet Adapter is listed and no yellow question mark is beside it. -
