Installation Instructions This product consists of a DVI-7311-TX Transmitter Unit and a DVI-7311-RX Receiver Unit. The DVI signal components are routed from the Transmitter Unit to the Receiver Unit using a 50/125μ multi-mode fiber cable with 4x LC connectors (see application drawing on page 1).

Instructions for Learning the EDID from a Display Apply power to the display. Connect the DVI-7311 Transmitter unit to the display’s DVI input port. Connect the External AC Power Adapter to the Transmitter unit. Press the EDID button on the top side of the Transmitter unit (page 2 - #5). The BLUE indicator LED (page 2 - #2a) will illuminate briefly when the button is depressed and then flash ON once if the EDID is read successfully.
