Light effects
You can use light effects to notify
yourself of new events, such as a new
message or an incoming call. You can
set special light effects to your
favourite contacts, or turn off light
effects to save battery power.
Certain light effects cannot be turned off
such as those you see when you open and
close the phone, or when you add or
remove an accessory.
To turn off light effects

Select Menu > Settings > Sounds &
alerts > Light effects.

Select Off.
To turn on light effects

Select Menu > Settings > Sounds &
alerts > Light effects.

Select On.
To set a light effect for incoming calls

Select Menu > Settings > Sounds &
alerts > Light effects > Call light.

Select an option.
To set a light effect for a phone
contact

Select Menu > Contacts.

Scroll to a contact and select Options
> Edit contact.

Scroll to the third tab, then select Light
effect.

Select Edit.

Select an option and then select Save.
Screen orientation
You can change between landscape
and portrait orientation, or select Auto
rotate to have the orientation change
when you rotate the phone.
