This device complies with the latest FAI F1Q rules and is compatible with most current F1Q e-
Timers. It monitors the energy consumed by the motor and, if the set energy limit is reached,
issues a motor cutoff signal that is handled by the e-Timer.

HOW IT WORKS

Assuming the limiter is wired as shown in the following, on battery connection it will display

current flow to the ESC, e-Timer and servo(s) system in idle state and with motor off.
On self-calibration completion the unit briefly flashes the programmed energy limit (e.g.

The unit starts counting the consumed energy as soon as the e-Timer start-switch is released
while the motor is running. During energy counting the limiter displays the current value for the
consumed energy while it gets incremented.
When the programmed energy limit is reached, the limiter issues the motor cut-off signal for the e-
Timer and alternately displays the energy amount and the motor cut-off time (e.g.
